1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Customer”, or “you”) and Patrika Studio (“Patrika Studio”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), governing your access to and use of our digital wedding invitation platform, online visual editor, custom design studio, and related web hosting services at patrikastudio.com.
By accessing our website, creating an invitation draft, or completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Scope of Services
Patrika Studio provides digital design and software solutions for wedding celebrations, including:
- Interactive Wedding Websites: Hosted digital websites with custom domains/subdomains, ceremony itineraries, interactive Google Maps directions, and WhatsApp RSVP features.
- Self-Service Visual Editor: An online editor enabling couples to personalize text, dates, events, countdowns, and photographs in real time.
- Digital PDF Invitation Suites: Multi-page, interactive digital cards formatted for WhatsApp and smartphone sharing.
- Bespoke Custom Atelier: Tailored design services including hand-drawn couple illustrations/caricatures, 4K animated invitation films, and fully custom interactive web reveals.
3. User Accounts & Authentications
To create and save design drafts or publish a live wedding invitation, you may be required to sign in using Google Single Sign-On (OAuth). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Content Ownership & Intellectual Property
A. Your Personal Content
You retain 100% full ownership and copyright of all personal photographs, text stories, ceremony schedules, and personal assets uploaded into your invitation. By uploading content, you grant Patrika Studio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license solely to host, display, and render your invitation to your invited guests as requested by you.
B. Patrika Studio Intellectual Property
All website software, template code, interactive animations (curtain reveals, wax seal unlocks, floral blooms), graphic elements, monogram designs, fonts, and brand assets are the exclusive intellectual property of Patrika Studio and are protected under copyright and trademark laws. Purchasing a template grants you a personal, non-transferable license to publish one (1) wedding invitation for your celebration. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer our templates or code.
5. Pricing, Publishing & Unlimited Edits
- One-Time Transparent Pricing: Template purchases are one-time fees (e.g. ₹1,599 for interactive wedding websites, ₹499 for PDF suites) as stated during checkout, with no hidden recurring monthly subscriptions.
- Unlimited Post-Publishing Edits: You are entitled to make unlimited updates to ceremony timings, dates, venue addresses, and itinerary details after publishing at no additional charge.
- Hosting Duration: Live wedding websites remain active and hosted for a minimum of twelve (12) months from the date of publishing, covering your entire pre-wedding, wedding, and post-wedding celebration window.
6. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Due to the immediate digital delivery of our template access and source generation:
- Ready Templates: Because you have the ability to preview all templates with sample data in our live editor before payment, purchases of published websites and downloadable PDFs are generally non-refundable once published. However, if you experience technical issues that prevent your website from functioning as advertised, our support team will resolve it or provide a full refund within 7 business days.
- Bespoke Custom Orders: For custom commissions (couple caricatures, 4K animated video films), cancellation requests made before design concepts have begun will receive a full refund. Once initial concept artwork has commenced, deposits cover design labor and revisions.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use Patrika Studio to:
- Upload defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or unlawful materials.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property, copyright, or privacy rights of any third party.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages or spam via WhatsApp links.
- Attempt to compromise our server security, databases, or cloud infrastructure.
We reserve the right to remove or unpublish any invitation that violates these standards.
8. Limitation of Liability
While we maintain high availability (99.9% uptime) with enterprise-grade cloud providers, Patrika Studio is not liable for temporary service interruptions caused by internet infrastructure downtime, telecommunications failures, or outages in third-party services like WhatsApp, Google Maps, or Razorpay beyond our reasonable control. In no event shall Patrika Studio's total aggregate liability exceed the total fee paid by you for the specific service in dispute.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to our platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the competent courts of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.
